Spiaggia di Fetovaia, Elba, Toscana, Italy, lies on the south-western side of the island and is known for golden sand, granite cliffs, and water colors from dark blue to light green near the white sand. The beach is about 200 metres long and up to 40 metres wide, with fine golden granite sand. It is sheltered by Punta Fetovaia, a rugged promontory covered in Mediterranean bush, and by Monte Cenno at the foot of Monte Capanne, with only the Scirocco making the sea rough. The turquoise water is shallow far out and usually calm. The beach is often busy and has bathing establishments, and there are granite slabs to the left where boats are pulled in, used for sunbathing and diving.
