Description
Ftenagia Beach, South Aegean, Chalki, Greece offers clear water and easy holding in sand at 9 meters, with some weed and rocks that are easy to avoid. The anchorage is well protected except for some swell from the early ferry, and there are rocks along the beach so do not anchor too close. A taverna is open on the beach during the day, and dinghy access to Chalki is easy. The organized beach has umbrellas and sunbeds, with deep blue waters and views toward Rhodes, and in August the red moon rise over Rhodes is visible.
