Description
Valtos Beach lies west of Parga, below a hill with a Venetian castle. It is a 20‑minute walk from town and accessible by car, bicycle or boat. In summer there is a water‑taxi service from Parga harbor. Valtos is a large beach with a 3 km coastline, small soft pebbles, greenery around, and clear deep waters. The beach is well organized with water sports like jet‑skiing, banana rides, pedalos and canoe rentals. Taverns and cafes line the beach and stay open all day, and there are small hotels and rooms along the coastline. It has no nightlife options, but walking around in the evening or early morning is recommended.
