Buoy
Description
Uvala Maračol in Unije, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia, is a super bay with excellent anchorage sheltered by all winds. The mooring system uses a buoy with four lines and four deadweights, two at bow and two at stern, connected by a small line; it is cumbersome for the unfamiliar but very safe. The village with a small restaurant and market is reachable by tender and a short 15-minute walk. In the morning a boat passes with fresh bread, krapfen and brioches, cheese, fruit and vegetables.
