Anchorage
Description
Uvala Ciganka, Lopar, Rab, Croatia, has soft sand with good holding. Sailing boats with deep keels anchor in 3–5 metres, and the bay is very shallow about 100 metres from the sandy beach. It is busy during the day with motor day-boats but nearly deserted before sunset. The area has interesting geological formations on land worth a closer look on foot. It is a great place to swim, with shallow water around 1 metre deep.
