Description
Spiaggia La Pelosa is a beach near Stintino in Capo Falcone, in the province of Sassari. It is 300 meters long and up to 60 meters wide, with shallow turquoise waters and white sand, facing northeast toward Isola Piana 600 meters offshore and Isola Asinara beyond. A sixteenth-century watchtower, Torre della Pelosa, stands nearby. This is a popular diving area with two nearby diving centers, and surfboards and canoes can be rented at the Stintino Windsurfing Center. The beach can be crowded in July and August.
