Description
Punta Molentis is a beach on the south-eastern coast of Sardinia near Villasimius, along the provincial road to Castiadas and Costa Rei. It has clear water and fine white sand on one side and a granite quarry on the other. The area is part of the Capo Carbonara marine area and is named for sumolenti, the donkey used to transport granite. The beach shows white sand with pink along the shoreline, turquoise and azure sea, and granite rocks that stand out along the coast.
