Description

Porto Zafferano is a wide curve of white, super-fine sand with pale pink reflections along the shoreline, created by fragments of shells. The sea is extraordinarily transparent and remains shallow far out, with low rocks on the seabed visible and water tones from emerald green to turquoise. To the east stands the tower of Porto Scudo on a high promontory, while to the west the beach gives way to rocks. The scene is framed by dunes and Mediterranean scrub, with surrounding mountains and views toward Capo Teulada. A small port allows mooring boats and dinghies near the beach.
