Approximately 5,000 inhabitants multiplying every weekend/summers due to easy access from Kosta or Piraeus. Mooring: Western side of pier available for yachts. VERY GOOD holding in sand. Pier has OCCASIONAL SIDE SWELL from bigger ships passing island - might be QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE and even DANGEROUS when multiplied by natural swell. If docking: keep REASONABLY SAFE DISTANCE from neighbor ships and pier. Nearby services: ATM, electricity, market, restaurant, water, anchorage. Architecture and History: Mansions of last century captains with local architecture. Picturesque Byzantine churches. Historic museums. Streets with famous SPETSIOTIC COBBLESTONES. Picturesque shipyards and carriages - traditional elements fascinating visitors for decades. In Dapia (current port): cannons once defended town. Today: commercial center around harbor.
