Description

Port Panagia is a town pier in Panagia, Eubója island, Thessaly and Central Greece, Greece, positioned at coordinates 38.266540°N, 24.158238°E. LOVELY PLACE with good amenities but SEVERE NOISE WARNING and limited capacity. Port Character: Lovely place with shops, water, and electricity. Pleasant setting with comprehensive facilities including utilities and provisioning. NOISE WARNING: If at wharf alongside restaurants there is quite bit of room BUT at end of June it's already MUSIC UNTIL 3 AM! Severe sleep disturbance from waterfront restaurant music during summer season - effectively eliminates peaceful overnight rest. Anchorage Options: Anchorage just SOUTH of fishing port in 10M water, DOABLE in NORTHERLY WIND, otherwise TOO CLOSE to ROCKS. Wind-dependent anchoring - only safe in northerly conditions, other wind directions push boats dangerously close to rocks. In center of bay, immediately 15m depth. Capacity: Only enough room for 4-8 BOATS. Very limited capacity means early arrival essential. Depth 2.3M against quay, more as you go along. Services: Electricity, Market, Restaurant, Water, Anchorage. Nice little restaurant available. Tip: Lovely setting with good facilities BUT music until 3 AM from late June onward ruins overnight peace. Anchoring south of port only safe in northerly winds - rocks too close otherwise. Very limited 4-8 boat capacity.
