Plimiri Beach, South Aegean, Rhodes, Greece offers very good protection and holding on good sand in a large open bay, making anchoring easy. The only problem is a noisy nightclub in one of the hotels. A dock protects the bay from the east but is silted along most of its length; at the end there is 3 m depth, usually occupied by fishing boats.
