Description
Nydri on Lefkada, Greece, lies about 20 km from Lefkas and Vasiliki. From the beach, views extend to Heloni, Skorpios, Sparta, Skorpidi, and Maduri. The city beach is narrow, gravelly, and decorated, with taverns and bars along it and deck chairs available with a drink. Water depth is gradual. Nydri has many accommodations and a lively promenade, with shops and restaurants, and the main street is closed to traffic nightly from 19:00 to 2:00. It sits in a leeward bay with a busy port area. Dimosara waterfalls are 4 km away and reachable on foot. Nearby are prehistoric settlement remains and Perigiali hamlet 1 km away.
