Anchorage
Description
Nicoles Lagoon anchorage in Ayia Napa, Paralimni, Cyprus, offers good protection in all but Northeast winds, with plenty of room and good holding. Trip boats make it noisy during the day but stay only about an hour, and it is quiet in the evening. Anchor in 9 to 11 meters over clear sand; if depth is 8 meters or less, expect rocks and rapid shallowing. Landing a hard dinghy may be a problem, while an inflatable can be pulled up on the rocks.
