Marine de Barcaggio (Barcaggio) Haute-Corse - Corse - France Anchorage in Barcaggio, Haute-Corse

Marine de Barcaggio is a sheltered anchorage in the bay of Ersa at the tip of Cap Corse, opposite the island of Giraglia about 1 nautical mile offshore. Anchoring is possible on sandy bottom to the northeast and at the beach; the anchorage is wide open to the north and winds often shift from ESE to W-SW. There is a small jetty with about 1.5 m depth along the quay and 80 berths. Barcaggio is a peaceful fishing port, known for its high dune and large sandy beach, and lies along the coastal footpath between Macinaggio and Centuri.
