Anchorage
Description
Mandraki, South Aegean, Rhodes, Greece is an excellent alternative to the port and marinas. Anchor in 8 m on sand near the castle wall and harbor wall rocks, with room for about six yachts. Dinghy access is to a tiny beach or around the castle wall to a protected small boat dock. The anchorage is not calm with a NW wind, and boat traffic creates waves at dawn; in calm weather it is nice.
