Buoy
Description
Sakarun bay at Lopata beach, Dugi Otok, Zadar County, Croatia, is a beautiful bay in the northwest with one of the few sandy beaches in the region and a mostly sandy bottom. The bay offers good shelter from Bura and Tramuntana but is exposed to Jugo and should be left early then. In summer the swimming area is separated and buoys are further out. The beach shelves gently, suitable for children. A small beach bar on shore is run by the buoy field operator. The bay is usually very crowded in season, so booking a buoy is worthwhile. Buoy price is 30 kn/m (2022).
