Anchorage
Description
Kouremenos Beach, Palekastro, Crete, Greece, is a beautiful bay with many windsurfers, anchoring around 6 m with good holding in sand. The beach is over 1.5 km long between Cape Tenta and Cape Plaka, with fine brown sand, shallow turquoise waters, and tamarisk trees. It is slightly organized with umbrellas, showers, and beach bars. The area is known for very strong winds and nearby wind turbines.
