Description

Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus was originally built as an outdoor velodrome for the first modern Summer Olympics in 1896. After minor renovations in the 1960s, Olympiacos moved in as tenants in 1925.......

The monastery complex consists of several buildings arranged around a central courtyard. The main church dates from the Byzantine period and features remarkable frescoes and iconography.

Visitors can explore the museum which houses ancient manuscripts and religious artifacts. The library contains over thousand rare books and documents.

Great place to visit, beautiful scenery and very peaceful atmosphere. The staff was helpful and the facilities were well maintained.
