Description

Kanakia beach on Salamina, Attica, Greece, is a nice and quiet bay with a taverna on the beach open all year except Mondays and Tuesdays in winter. You can hike to a Mycenaean acropolis and a viewpoint on the hill, and the waters are blue and good for snorkeling. The anchorage is good on sand but can be a little rolly when wind comes from the NW quadrant.
