Anchorage
Description
Faros beach near Kolones on Salamina, Attica, Greece, is a quiet anchorage in 10 to 15 m with good protection from north winds, though a small residual swell enters the bay. A small lighthouse stands on the cliff, built in 1901 with a 13 m tower and focal plane at 34 m. It is located at Peristeria on the southern edge of Salamina.
