Description
Île Riou near Marseille, France, is the main island of the Riou archipelago with a highest point of 190 m. The south has high limestone cliffs, while the north has cliffs that lower to a sand beach and a shingle beach. Seagull colonies and other species are present, as well as rabbits, rats, and sometimes falcons. The climate is dry. Sea diving is notable with drops down to 70 m, corals and sponges, many caves, and antique wrecks.
