Description

Calanque de Sormiou near Marseille, France, is the largest calanque with a sand beach, typical cabins, and a small launching ramp for residents. At the end there is a large parking area and a high restaurant. Paths lead toward cap Sormiou and cap Redon, and toward the little port of Sormiou, passing small shingle beaches and up to Morgiou crest. The prehistoric Cosquer Cave lies at the far left of the calanque.
