Anchorage
Description
Golfo di Procchio, Elba, Toscana, Italy, includes one of the longest sandy beaches on the island, just under one kilometre in length. The beach is golden, fine sand and horseshoe-shaped with crystal clear emerald sea, especially with southern winds. The water is shallow far out, making it suitable for children. The beach includes Campo all'Aia and the small La Guardiola beach. The area has archaeological remains including a furnace and a Roman ship hull with amphoras. The view includes the green summits of Monte Perone and the Monte Capanne massif.
