Anchorage

Description

Calanque d'En-vau near Marseille, France, is noted for high cliffs and crystal clear water, with a shingle beach at the end. It is accessible via road 559 from Marseille to Cassis and a path down to the sea, opening like a gorge. It is well protected and suited for kayaking. The area has a viewpoint and outstanding crests on the Cassis side. A few wild boars sometimes swim and rest on the beach.
