Description
Akrotiri anchorage, Santorini, Aegean, Greece offers good protection from NW to NE winds. Tavernas ashore are reachable by dinghy via a small quay. Be careful at night with long floating lines for buoys and with wakes from large cruisers passing close. The bottom is mostly sand with some rocks near shore, and the black sand gives good anchor grip if you anchor before the buoys.
