Description
Agios Giannakis (Ai Giannakis, Agios Ioannis) is a small, tucked cove about 9 km from Parga. It has emerald green water due to rich nature in the hinterland and is a more isolated beach. A canteen offers food and drinks, with shaded seating. The sea is crystal clear and good for snorkeling. The coast and seabed are gravel, so sea sandals are recommended. There are no sunbeds or parasols, and the beach has no shower. A small parking space is available, and the path to the beach is short, paved, and winding. The bay is surrounded by high hills and protected from wind, and a small church of St. John on the hill gives the beach its name.
