Aci Marina Cres (Cres) Opčina Cres - Croatia Marina in Cres, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County

ACI Marina Cres is located in a deep and sheltered bay in the southern part of Cres harbour, on the western coast of Cres Island in the Kvarner region. It serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the islands in Kvarner Bay and the Istrian peninsula. The marina has 440 berths at the breakwater and 7 jetties, plus an additional 120 dry berths. Mega-yachts up to 50m long can berth here. The approach is possible at any time of day as light signals illuminate the bay and marina. At night, be mindful of the unlit steel buoy in front of the marina entrance. Both sanitary buildings are located behind the restaurant and were renovated in 2007, offering extraordinarily good, very clean and well-kept facilities. The fuel station is located outside the harbour, right in front of the breakwater. Plenty of parking spaces are available in the northern and southern parts of the harbour premises. Cres harbour is approached through a 400m-wide channel. Landmarks on approach include lighthouses on Cape Kovačine (Fl (2) R 6s 9m 8M) and Cape Križice (Fl G 3s 9m 4M). The exact position of Cape Kovačine lighthouse is 44°57.6' N 14°23.7' E. On entering the channel between these two lighthouses, the Cape Melin lighthouse (Fl R 3s 6m 3M) is clearly visible. There is an underwater rock in its immediate vicinity and a distance of at least 50m from the cape should be maintained. The entrance to ACI Marina Cres is marked by harbour lights: a red light on the breakwater head (Fl (2) R 5s 7m 3M) and a green light on Martinski Islet (Fl (2) G 5s 7m 3M). From Cape Kovačine to the marina the speed limit is 5 knots; within the marina the speed limit is 2 knots.
