WSV Woudrichem is a sheltered club harbor with 120 berths located within the historic fortress of Woudrichem in Altena, Netherlands. The marina accommodates various types of vessels, from salmon chimney boats and rowing boats to cabin sailing yachts and luxury motor yachts, with a maximum size of 14 x 4.5 meters. The strategic location provides excellent access to diverse sailing areas including the quiet Dammed Maas, the lively Waal and Merwede rivers, and the vast Biesbosch nature reserve. The harbor offers both permanent berths and numerous places for visiting boats. Since 2010, the port has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag quality mark, recognizing its high environmental and safety standards. Marina facilities include a welcoming clubhouse called Arkade with excellent sanitary facilities, where showers and toilets are available free of charge. Overnight mooring costs €1.50 per meter length plus €1.25 tourist tax per person. Electricity on the jetties is available at €2 per day. The harbor master provides complimentary bicycle loans for shopping trips and water extension hoses for boat maintenance. From the marina, guests can walk directly into the medieval fortified town of Woudrichem, where restaurants, shops, and museums are within close proximity. A pedestrian ferry to the historic Slot Loevestein castle operates next to the harbor, while a ferry service to Gorinchem is located approximately 200 meters away. The fortress area features several restaurants and shops, while a small shopping center outside the fortress walls includes a supermarket, Lidl, Action store, bakery, and drugstore. A weekly market takes place every Thursday afternoon at 't Rond near the shopping center, providing fresh local products and goods.
