WSV Numansdorp (Numansdorp) Hoeksche Waard - Netherlands Marina in Numansdorp, Zuid-Holland

Water Sports Association Numansdorp is a well-established marina with over 55 years of history, located centrally on the Hollandsdiep in the Netherlands. The association maintains approximately 200 active members and operates a harbour with around 160 berths suitable for vessels ranging from five to fifteen meters in length. The marina offers comprehensive facilities including electricity, water, showers, and WIFI, all available free of charge for both members and visiting sailors. The harbour entrance requires careful navigation as it is flanked on the west side by a groyne that becomes nearly invisible at high water levels. This groyne has historically posed challenges for yacht owners attempting to follow the shortest route using yacht buoys to reach the harbour entrance. To improve safety and visibility, the groyne is now marked with three stakes painted in bright red and white colors, topped with red markers. A well-known red water buoy has marked the end of the groyne for many years, though proper navigation protocols should always be observed. Visiting sailors are welcome to reserve berths in advance through the harbour masters or contact them directly via VHF channel 31. The marina's location provides excellent access to local amenities, with an Albert Heijn supermarket and numerous other shops within walking distance. Several restaurants offering various price ranges are also available in the immediate vicinity. The association remains active with regular activities, competitions, and long-standing traditions that contribute to its vibrant community atmosphere.
