Description

WSV De Kogge marina in Tholen offers convenient access through two main routes: via the Scheldt-Rhine Canal with a height restriction of 9 metres, or from the Oosterschelde through the Bergse Diepsluis. To ensure a smooth arrival, boaters are encouraged to contact the harbor master in advance for detailed information and berth availability. Upon arrival, vessels can moor in designated boxes marked with green square signs. When no free box is available, alternative mooring is possible at the wooden jetty in the city harbor after consulting with the harbor master. Vessels exceeding 13 meters in length have the option to moor directly in the city harbor, which is equipped with adequate shore power connections (16A) and water facilities. The marina's mooring system is organized with jetties labeled A through G, while the city harbor jetty is designated with the letter P. Each mooring box is individually numbered for easy identification. Boaters must report their exact berth location to the harbor master, including both the letter designation and box number. For safety purposes, all vessels mooring in the city harbor must position themselves with the bow facing outwards. After securing your vessel, registration with the harbor master at the harbor office is mandatory. If the harbor master is not present at the office, boaters can reach them by telephone at +31 (0) 653 17 11 10 or via VHF radio on channel 31. Payment for mooring services must be completed before departure from the marina.
