Description
Vourkari Harbour on Kea, South Aegean, Greece, is protected from all winds. Boats moor at the quay in the designated area where water and electricity are available, and it becomes shallow quickly on both sides of the quay. Boats should moor bow-to as the seabed ascends quickly; anchors often cross and the Meltemi affects the quay, so ensure holding. In front of the quay and elsewhere in the bay, boats can anchor at depths up to 16 meters. Restaurants and shopping are nearby, and fishermen sell fresh fish from their boats.
