Uvala Sumarin (Dubrovnik) in Opčina Dubrovnik, Croatia has good holding in 8 to 12 meters; look for sand patches. There is no proper place to leave the dinghy, but at the north side there is a small pontoon with decorated sails where you can leave and chain it if nobody complains. It offers beautiful sunset views.
