Anchorage
Description
Uvala Portoč (Dubrovnik) in Opčina Dubrovnik, Lokrum, Croatia has a port reserved for passenger ships. In the bay in front of the harbor, anchoring is possible in depths between 1.5 and 10 m, but the Dubrovnik ferry must not be impaired. Anchors can be dangerous in winds from N and NE, and ferry tides must be considered. Sail to the northern part of the bay around the headland to Dubrovnik. Lokrum is a nature reserve with hiking trails and restaurants, and Fort Royal towers over the island.
