Description
Stončica in Vis, Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia, is a deep bay at about 20 m with a rocky bottom where anchors hold badly. The port office Vis has deployed buoys, not reservable and almost always occupied. On shore is the Stončica tavern under shady trees, known for lamb and fresh fish; its operator has a jetty for guests where you can berth with mooring lines stern-to, and reservations are recommended due to few places. The water is very clean and there is a small sandy beach. Mooring buoys are not related to the restaurant and are not free.
