Spiaggia di Baia dei Mergoli, Foggia, Italy, is also known as Baia delle Zagare and is a symbolic beach of the Gargano. It is known for high white cliffs, two limestone stacks shaped by the wind, pine trees, and a white pebble beach that contrasts with the blue sea. The area includes two beaches separated by a cliff: Baia delle Zagare and Baia dei Faraglioni toward Vieste. It lies in the territory of Mattinata, about 30 km from Vieste. The bay is often a stop on boat excursions to the Gargano sea caves and can be reached by sea, via a resort on the cliff connected by an elevator carved into the rock, or via old paths from the main road.
