Description

Royal Scarphout Yachtclub Blankenberge operates two harbour facilities in the center of Blankenberge, offering convenient access to both the seawall and beach. The marina provides 250 berths divided between the old harbour and the new harbour, accommodating both club members and visiting yachts. To enter the harbour safely, vessels should follow the leading lights at 134°. The new harbour features pontoons numbered 13, 14, and 15, while the old harbour contains jetties 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22. Upon arrival, visiting boats should moor at jetty 18 and report to the RSYB harbour office, where staff will assign an appropriate berth based on vessel requirements. The marina charges visitor fees calculated according to boat length. All jetties are equipped with essential services including potable water, electricity, and wifi, with usage included in the berthing fee. During the winter season from October 1st to April 30th, electricity consumption is metered individually and billed separately to account for increased heating needs. The harbour office building houses modern sanitary facilities with showers and toilets for the convenience of all marina users. Additional amenities enhance the visitor experience, including an on-site bar and restaurant where sailors can enjoy meals and refreshments. A large sun terrace provides a relaxing outdoor space for guests to unwind after time on the water. The central location in Blankenberge city center places the marina within easy reach of local shops, services, and attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the Belgian coast.
