Porto Cheli in Peloponnese, Greece, is an excellent anchorage, though there are many moorings and not much room for passing boats. The bottom is very good and shallow. Even with an easterly wind the anchorage remains good, but there is a lot of traffic. A warning notes two large abandoned anchors with chains near the center of the bay at 37°19.215'N 23°8.533'E, in about 3 meters of depth, not visible due to cloudy water.
