Port Symi is a town pier in Symi, South Aegean, Greece, located at coordinates 36°36'57'' N, 27°50'11'' E. Water depths DECLINE RAPIDLY - you have to LET OUT A LOT OF CHAIN. The anchorage is DIRTY, some areas are ROCKY with MODERATE HOLD. At the vertex of the harbour bay, anchors can easily GET ENTANGLED in OLD CHAINS and LINES lying on the seabed - exercise caution. WATCH OUT FOR SWELL, sometimes HEAVY, generated by many ferries. Berthing capacity: 50 yachts, max length 30m, max draft 2.5m. Small ouzerias where you can enjoy ouzo accompanied by soft bouzouki sounds.
