Port of Bodø Marina is located in the heart of Bodø, Norway's largest urban area in Nordland county and the second-largest town in North Norway. Situated just north of the Arctic Circle, Bodø is a municipality covering 1,395 square kilometres with a population of 52,357 inhabitants and a density of 39.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. The municipality ranks as the 66th largest by area and 19th most populous in Norway, with population growth of 10.7% over the previous decade. Bodø was named European Capital of Culture for 2024 and is home to Bodø-Glimt, the northernmost football club to win a European league competition. The Port of Bodø offers visiting pleasure craft approximately 100 centrally located berths among the city's best positions. The marina features four floating jetties with most berths providing access to freshwater, shore power and Wi-Fi connectivity. The guest marina's central location provides immediate access to hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, the wine monopoly and the airport. During summer months, the Port of Bodø provides a dedicated port host service to assist visiting guests.
