Description
Port Mali Iž is a town pier in Mali Iž, Croatia, located at coordinates 44.02846800°N, 15.13977200°E. Port serves mainly as ferry port. West side of ferry pier: yachts can dock briefly up to 3m water depth. Weather Protection and Facilities: West side of pier well protected from winds. WARNING: Easterly winds make docking and entering port dangerous. Inner part of L-shaped jetty: 6 moorings for yachts with limited length (around 15m) due to small maneuvering space. Various cafés, restaurants and small supermarket right in harbor. Nearby services: Market, restaurant. Tip: Primarily ferry port - keep clear of ferry berths, brief docking only on west side (up to 3m depth). Well protected except during dangerous easterly winds - avoid in east wind conditions. Limited maneuvering space restricts yacht length to around 15m in inner L-shaped jetty (6 moorings). Convenient harbor-side dining and provisioning with cafés, restaurants, supermarket.
