Port Križna in Opčina Hvar, Hvar, Croatia is the second port of the town of Hvar, accessed from the passage between the islet of Galešnik and the Hvar coast. Depth in the passage is 9 m and anchoring there is forbidden. The port is influenced by winds from the IV quadrant, with better conditions in south wind. The coast is occupied by local boats. Depth along the north coast is about 1 m, slightly deeper to around 2 m, and the fuel station has 1.5 to 1.8 m. Beware the concrete quay sticking out about 25 cm above the promenade and waves from maestral and landward breeze; fueling early or late helps avoid queues. There is a slipway next to the fuel station. Many vessels anchor in the cove with depths from 3 to 8 m at the exit; do not moor here because anchors can catch dead weights, attach to another ship instead.
