Anchorage
Description
Port Ermioni in Peloponnese, Greece, is a small town dock with limited berths. The outside edge is dangerous and should not be used in swell, especially when ferries run. The inner harbor is occupied by fishing boats, and there is a restless swell at the outer jetty, to be avoided in winds from NE to SO. The bay is very shallow, so waves accumulate in the harbor basin. The flying cat ferry causes extremely rough waves. Water is opaque and only about 3 meters deep, and winds from NE can turn due to the hill, so keep distance from neighbors.
