Description

Port Epidavros is a town pier in Palaia Epidavros, Peloponnese, Greece, located at coordinates 37.637617°N, 23.158003°E. Small charming port in HEART of Epidavros village. Facilities: Water and electricity available. PLENTY of bars and restaurants at port. Can grab food, stock up on fuel, water, supplies at marina. Nearby services: ATM, electricity, market, restaurant, water, anchorage. Theaters: Do NOT MISS visit to GREAT THEATER - 15 minutes away by car. Small theater 5min walk from port after path through orange trees - nice little walk. Approach and Anchoring: Bay has VERY SHALLOW waters but two entrance lights drawing shoreline will SAFELY GUIDE to port. Anchoring in gulf and paddling to shore always nice idea! South of harbor: safe bay you can bind to while staying in Palaia Epidavros. Tip: Small charming village-heart port with plenty bars/restaurants. Water, electricity, fuel, supplies available. GREAT THEATER 15min car (don't miss!), small theater 5min walk through orange tree path. VERY SHALLOW bay BUT entrance lights safely guide. Anchoring gulf and paddling ashore recommended - safe bay south of harbor. The great theater proximity, charming village setting, orange tree path, and shallow-but-guided bay make this culturally rich, scenically pleasant destination.
