Panormos bay - South Aegean - Astypalea - Greece Anchorage in Aegean

Panormos bay, Astypalea, South Aegean, Greece, allows anchoring in 4–5 m over sand and flat rock. The bay is narrow, so use a kedge anchor or line ashore to keep a west–east orientation. It is a pleasant spot with reasonable shelter from meltemi swell. There is a very small sand and rock beach, and on the south side a larger beach with a short walk to a chapel.
