Anchorage
Description
Ormos Vasiliko in Megalonisos, Central Greece is a pleasant anchorage protected from prevailing winds. The regular sand bottom without seaweed facilitates anchoring, and there is still a barbecue area on the beach. Swell from the bow waves of many boats offshore is magnified by the bay’s shape and orientation. It is a very good anchorage except for the south sector.
