Description

The Museum presents over 400 exhibits from the prehistoric period to the 5th century A.D., documenting the Olympic Games and other panhellenic festivals including the Pythian at Delphi, Nemean at Zeus......

The monastery complex consists of several buildings arranged around a central courtyard. The main church dates from the Byzantine period and features remarkable frescoes and iconography.

Visitors can explore the museum which houses ancient manuscripts and religious artifacts. The library contains over thousand rare books and documents.
