When a Bora or SW Jugo wind blows, it becomes difficult to pass. During the day you need to watch out especially for swimmers. At night, it is difficult to distinguish the light signals from the town's lights. The marina is open all year round. Yachts can moor at the 850 berths, which have mooring lines and all of the service facilities you would expect of a modern marina. A few berths for visiting yachts are available at the L-shaped transit pier in the north part of the marina. Four well-kept sanitary facilities with showers and WCs are spread out through the entire complex. There are an additional 470 parking spaces along the quay wall for cars and trailers. The closest fuel station lies some two nautical miles further west in Krk.
