Description

Marathos beach in South Aegean, Greece, is a beautiful, well-protected spot with very good restaurants. Use the buoy of the restaurant you visit. If no buoy is left, you can anchor with a long line on the right side of the bay entrance. Buoys are laid for the high season: red for the restaurant to the east and yellow for the one to the west. Marathi (Marathos) is a small inhabited island of Dodecanese in the Arki chain, with about 355 acres and around 4 km of coastline. In summer, two taverns and some rooms to let are open, and visitors arrive by boat from Patmos or private watercraft.
