Description
Mandraki Hydra is one of the few real beaches of Hydra, a pebble organized beach with clear waters and water sports equipment for hire, offering a view over the Peloponnese. It is a good place to anchor for Hydra town. Do not drop your anchor and stern tie to the concrete area by the beach; police will tell you to move. There is large junk in about 12 m south of the beach area, while the north side near the Mandraki resort has metal rings and bars to tie to with anchor in about 8 m, and a resort boat taxi runs to Hydra town.
