Leros Marina, operated by Evros S.A., was established in 1989 on rocky land overlooking Lakki harbor on the island of Leros in the South Aegean. The marina is located in the north-eastern part of Lakki bay at coordinates 37° 07'42.30″ N – 26° 51'20.50″ E. This strategic location has significant historical importance, as Lakki served as a naval station and aeronautics base for the entire Eastern Mediterranean during the Italian possession of the Dodecanese Islands from 1913 to 1943. The marina was built at the exact point where the Italians moored their hydroplanes during this period. Developed on private land, Leros Marina was the first marina and boatyard facility established in the South East Aegean Greek waters, making it a pioneering yachting destination in this region. The harbor combines historical heritage with modern marina facilities, offering yacht services in a location steeped in Mediterranean naval history.
